“I Have a Dream” Program

In 2000, JBJ Foundation “adopted” the entire first grade class of Charles Drew Elementary School in Liberty City, Florida. JBJF provided 89 students tuition assistance for every member that gained admission to a two- or four-year accredited college or university. 

Since the “adoption,” JBJF has fostered the education of the students, including community meetups, assistance to students in high school, mentoring assistance to help students through college, and tuition assistance. In 2018, 26 students were attending college, 38 graduated college, 4 were in the military.
